PSA Testing

2021 PSA Testing

Navigating the healthcare world during this international pandemic is incredibly challenging. Based on CDC, state, and local guidelines as well as for the safety of staff, volunteers, and participants, many of our screening site partners have elected not to host prostate cancer testing events during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month this year.

We have partnered with LabCorp and imaware to offer free and low cost PSA testing. Supplies are limited and subject to availability.

LabCorp
With the LabCorp option, you will be able to go to a participating LabCorp in your area to have a PSA test. You will be required to fill out a screening form and then be directed to a LabCorp in your area to obtain the PSA test, if available in your area. Eligible participants will be required to fill out a screening form and PCEC will provide the requisition form to take to LabCorp.

imaware
imaware is the only independently validated and scientifically peer-reviewed at-home testing platform in the US. The imaware home collection kit is easy to use, a finger-prick test, that only requires 3-5 drops of blood. Test requests are evaluated and if appropriate, authorized by a physician. You will be required to fill out a screening form and upon approval, a home collection kit will be sent to you.
