SHARED DECISION MAKING IN ADVANCED PROSTATE CANCER SURVEY!

A new survey seeks to better understand the barriers to shared decision-making for patients diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer is leading a critical effort to address these inequities in cancer care.

 

 

Prostate cancer is the leading cause of cancer and second leading cause of cancer deaths. The death rate for Black men with prostate cancer is more than double that of every other group.

 

A new survey seeks to better understand the barriers to shared decision-making for patients diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer is leading a critical effort to address these inequities in cancer care.

 

 

The survey results will inform the development of resources and tools for health systems, clinics, and communities to implement at regional and local levels.

 

The first 100 survey completers will be eligible to receive a $20 gift card.
