Pints for Prostates

PFP logorgbRPints for Prostates is a grassroots campaign that uses the universal language of beer to reach men with an important health message. Founded by prostate cancer survivor Rick Lyke in 2008, the campaign raises awareness among men about the need for regular health screenings and PSA testing by making appearances at beer festivals, social networking and pro bono advertising.  Pints for Prostates has registered as a 501(c)3 charity and 100% of all funds raised by the group go to fighting prostate cancer and assisting men with the disease.

1400 Miles

1400miles1400 Miles uses a bike and a beer to spark difficult conversations with stubborn guys about prostate health.  Motivated by his Brewmaster at NxNW Restaurant and Brewery and longtime friend, Don Thompson’s inspirational recovery from prostate cancer, Davis Tucker decided to create an annual 1400 Mile trek from Austin to Denver arriving in time for the Great American Beer Festival… on his bike.  1400 Miles quickly grew from an idea to reality. On Tuesday, September 24, 2013 the 1400 Miles team set out for a journey that changed all of our lives.  This group continued their success to make 2014 even bigger and better!  We cannot wait to partner again for 2015!
