National Commando Day

Our mission is to have a day of fun and creating a sense of well being awareness through prostate cancer awareness.
National Commando Day is an anti-stigma campaign about prostate cancer. The prostate is a taboo subject and as a result, early detection of prostate cancer does not occur as often as it should. 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. But neither they nor their doctors even knew they had it. With early detection, prostate cancer can be treatable. If detected too late, many die from this cancer.
Nearly 34,000 men die each year and the numbers will only increase as the baby boomer generation matures. We must bring prostate cancer awareness to the fore. We believe National Commando Day can help break through the this stigma and have prostate cancer detection be an common conversation that people have, no matter if you are male or female.
